Arx Pictures — Independent film production

Arx Pictures is an independent film production studio based in New York. We make documentaries, commercial films and videos tailored to social media for artists, cultural institutions and brands.

Our work explores people, places and creative processes—from an artist’s studio to the making of a product. Led by Saheer Umar and Asya Gorbacheva, we combine creative direction with practical production experience. We plan, shoot and edit films with a clear narrative, a considered visual language and an understanding of their audience.
